Beijing Tourism Development Conference Held, Defining Future Goals

On October 24, the Beijing Tourism Development Conference was convened. The "Implementation Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Tourism Development in Beijing" was introduced at the conference. Beijing will promote high-quality tourism development from seven aspects such as optimizing spatial layout, improving product systems, and perfecting service systems. In the next five years, Beijing has clear tourism development goals. By 2029, the added value of the tourism industry will account for more than 5% of the city's GDP. Indicators such as the total number of tourists, total tourism revenue, and the number of inbound tourists all have clear growth targets.
